What is the best way to keep transponders when not in use? In the cradle unplugged? Also, If I charge it several days b4 using it will it hold a charge if it is in the cradle unplugged?

Sean, I know AMB recomends to store them somewhere warm and dry and charge them once a month. With that said, I'm probably the worst person to ask, our sit in the trailer where ever they ended up after the last race, then get charged before the first race of the year. Some of mine are over 10 years old Let me add the standard disclaimer of, Your results may vary

Sorry, missed the second question. Once charged, the number of times the green light blinks is suppose to indicate the number of days it will hold a charge
