Looking to get my boy started in racing he has been riding the sled for 4 years now. Have done a few minor mods to the sled running a Dominator clutch with a 15 tooth sporcket, a 49 tooth drive sprocket, and upgraded front shocks. My question is can I run that stuff in the 206 class. Also looking at shock kit for rear suspension what do you recomend.
Thanks

I m also curious about the Briggs class (improved). I thought I read you can change out the front shocks. Anybody running this class can you let us know what changes other than the motor are alloed. I m curious about the chasis , shocks , seat , widening kit etc.... thanks

Guys rules differ from series to series and some things are different in Snow X to Oval. Rules are explained per class in the current ISR book There will, as always, be a 120 meeting this summer for all 120 racing. Each series involved sends a rep to that meeting to address any changes needed or wanted. Talk to the people that run the series you race, make sure they attend so we can get this all sorted out and clear for next season

After competing this year with two sleds running the Briggs 206 motor, i am extremely impressed with the package! I would say that it levels the playing field... I have the motors in two Cat sleds... I think that the cats are a touch heavier so i will be looking at some ways to shave some weight this summer. I also found that they need a fuel pump, not sure if this was due to the tank design in the cat or the fuel filter i was running or both? For this being the first year with this package I would call it a huge sucess! Some very close racing with this motor combo. One thing I would love to see is amost a Spec class. Briggs motor, stock clutch, and a fixed gear ratio. I think this would bring some great close racing! The Briggs motor already tightened things up but throwing a spec clutch and a spec gear ratio i think would be neat to see! And a little easier on the pocket book.

csaracing,
Can you mention the type of fuel pump you ended up having to use on your cat?
