Something I have been noticeing, In Snow X, it seams racers can't wait to jump up to the full size sleds in the 300-550 classes. Now in ovals it seams alot fewer 120 racers make the jump to the bigger series like USSA. Just wondering why, any thoughts?

I really know nothing about SnoX, but one problem I see with moving up in oval racing is the uncertainty of how to go about it. If you look on ORA or USSA website there is no where for a potential new racer to read about different classes nor requirements for sleds. I know all the rules are in the ISR book however a simple introduction and contact person for these clubs would be helpful. Until recently talking with a few past kids members that are now racing ORA and USSA, I think people think they cannot afford it without having sponsors and that is very difficult to get running JR classes.

Thanks Bob, my son finally won the Kids Pro Ice Open Champ class last weekend and has been on quite a roll with Pro Stock Champ. We could not of done it without Regan. We will not be racing at Weyawega, we will be racing at Turtle Lake, we typically run all our races with Kids Pro Ice since they are close to home and keep travel cost down.
