I'm putting this here in the Gen sec. rather then Racing because honestly we were hit with so many trail questions on this package at haydays. Looks like alot of people are looking for a easy faster trail sled for their kids.
As far as the Briggs/120 package honestly, based on forums I was alittle worried because of lach of talk on on this. Forums are one of the best, sometimes only ways, to promote something publicly
At Haydays in our booth it was plain to see almost all of the 120 racers currently running are aware of it through their various groups. Almost everyone that talked to us is very much in favor of this new class, most of the groups have commited to it, afew still have meetings coming up. If your in favor of this, please make sure your board members know your feelings
The package is done, we actuly sold 6 of them at Haydays we have pipes and throttle kits. Polaris will need a small angle plate to raise the back of the engine up, That is in the works and coming soon. Other then that its a very simple swap. Both of the sleds we displayed were converted in about 5 hr's and that included cleaning up the sleds to show and instaling battery powered lighting systems..
While at the show, we made several connections with LED lighting people, that gave us sources for a LED headlight that should accept the stock wiring plug and be a direct replacement. The thought from several of these business is that a good LED light will not only produce a brighter light, it should last between 12-18 hours without a re-charge. Thats good news for the trail riders looking for more power. More on this to come.
Back to the forums for just a min. While it seems clear most people involed currently in racing know about this. The benefit of talking about this on a forum is it spreads the news to people not involveded right now in a racing group, and hopefully brings new racers to any of the groups in their area.
Please feel free to post anything your groups have to say on this forum.
